Apparently it's ok to beat your wife

As this Saudi TV program points out, it's OK to smack your ho, but please; not in the face. "Dr." Muhammad Al-'Arifi, while on Saudi and Kuwaiti television said that when it comes to disciplining your wife:

"Admonish them – once, twice, three times, four times, ten times. If this doesn't help, refuse to share their beds"

That's all when and good, but what should I do when I simply don't have the time and/or energy for any more admonishment?

"Beat them", one of his co-hosts responds.

"That's right", says Dr. Muhammad Al-'Arifi.

Now that doesn't mean you land a right hook smack in her purdy lil' face, though.

"Beating in the face is forbidden, even when it comes to animals. Even if you want your camel or donkey to start walking, you are not allowed to beat it in the face. If this is true for animals, it is all the more true when it comes to humans. So beatings should be light and not in the face."

Whew. Glad I read that last paragraph.
