OMG What A Sore Effin Loser

Today while perusing some of my favorite blogs I logged onto withleather.com and came across this post about an article written by Mr. Charles P. Pierce on slate.com. Apparently Mr. Pierce is downright angry that the Arizona Cardinals are playing in the Super Bowl.

I need to point out this guy is a douche.

Pierce is from Boston- let's get that little tidbit out in the open- so it's no surprise that his major complaint for the Cardinals' Super Bowl appearance was the whooping that the Patriots gave them at the end of the season as well as the Cardinals' loss to the Jets, which was a blowout until the fourth quarter. He just can't believe that a team from a desert climate would have trouble playing in 20 degree weather; the game against the Patriots was in fact played in an effing blizzard.

He also likes to use big words- words like "festoon" and "jingoistic". Do I know what jingoistic means? Of course not: I'm not an a-hole. I will however admit to the fact that I love using colons, semi-colons, and dashes in my writing. :;-:;-

Probably the greatest reason he gives for the Cardinals' mediocrity is the division they play in.

Ummm Mr. Pierce have you seen the AFC East lately? (this is another thing I do- I like the one sentence paragraph)

The Patriots have been riding a wave of free passes until this year. They have had six guaranteed wins for the past six seasons. When they finally receive some competition they crap themselves. Never mind Tom Brady. A quarterback doesn't make your defense suck. Age sure does, and it crept up on your secondary in Super Bowl XLII. It's only a matter of time before your linebacker corps all have Just For Men commercials.

And, of course, the real reason the Cardinals are still playing in February is the fact that they won clutch games. Did the Patriots win any clutch games this year? Nope- that is the undeniable reason why they're not in the playoffs. I wonder if Pierce actually watched the Cardinals' playoff games. He would've seen a secondary make some spectacular catches and frustrate Delhomme into making horrible throws. He also would've seen a team lose themselves only to regain their composure in the fourth quarter. Of course Pierce wouldn't know that- he's into the NFL conspiracy about profit gains and passing the torch- of course the level of competition in the NFL has nothing to do with the salary cap. The only admirable thing one can find in Mr. Pierce's article is the fact that he praises Larry Fitzgerald. I don't how he got that right- either a lucky guess or he actually listened to the announcers that he chided with hyperbole at the top of his article.

I want to know why people would read Mr. Pierce's crap enough to give him a job writing it. I have faith in the people of Boston. The time is now, and you know what to do- when you see this sore loser's remarks in print simply look the other way.

:-;-:-;-:-:
